The paper describes the immobilization of glucose oxidase on a polycarbonate membrane modified by a urethane coupling with poly-(l-lysine) and activated with glutaraldehyde. The enzymic properties of the immobilized enzyme were investigated and compared with the those of native glucose oxidase. The thermal stability and pH stability of the immobilized glucose oxidase were greater than those of the native enzyme. The membrane was applied as a glucose sensor.
